Job Summary
Re-package various products, sort and stack items, and operate equipment including shrink wrappers, balers, and crushers. Complete required documentation, perform general housekeeping and recycling duties, and execute other tasks as assigned. This role involves frequent lifting up to 80 lbs, bending, reaching, and working evenings, afternoons, and weekends. Forklift experience is preferred, and all candidates must obtain a certificate. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to read and write English
- Basic computer skills (data entry)
- Basic mathematical skills (accountable for accurate load information)
- Ability to work shift work (evenings/afternoons/weekends)
- Forklift experience
- Problem-solving skills along with the ability to troubleshoot and make adjustments as necessary
- Results oriented individual with the ability to sort product in a way that meets safety standards and maximizes available space
- Team player who shows initiative, reliability and flexibility
- Frequently lifting/carrying a maximum of 80 lbs
- Occasionally pushing/pulling/lifting a maximum of 100 lbs
- Frequent bending and reaching above the shoulder
Desired Qualifications
- A post-secondary education
- Forklift Certificate
