Job Summary
Solicit new business from retail and wholesale food stores by conducting business reviews, demonstrating products, and using samples to emphasize salable features. Prepare sales contracts, quote prices and credit terms, and arrange product delivery and empty shell pickups based on production schedules. Place price and descriptive signs, transfer merchandise to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates, and order product for assigned accounts to prevent out-of-stock conditions. Construct display aids from Point of Sale materials and prepare reports of business transactions while maintaining a professional image. Travel through the assigned territory in a vehicle, requiring a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
Required Qualifications

- Must be available to travel through assigned territory

- Must be able to transfer product from customer stock room to floor displays

- Must be able to estimate and coordinate date of product delivery and empty shell pickups
- Must be able to prepare reports of business transactions
- Must be able to keep expense accounts
- Must wear and utilize appropriate company safety equipment
- Must wear Company provided uniform and present a professional and well-groomed image to customers and the market place
- Must agree to a drug-free workplace
- Must agree to a background check to begin employment
