Job Summary
Display beverage merchandise on shelves, showcases, and sales floors by arranging products according to prearranged plans or approved ideas. Place price and descriptive signs on fixtures and transfer product from the stock room to floor displays to comply with "Sell By" dates and minimize inventory in storage. Order product for assigned accounts to ensure no out-of-stocks conditions and construct or assemble display aids from company Point of Sale materials. Communicate daily with key store personnel regarding service or product needs. Perform duties in Logan, Utah, requiring the ability to lift up to 70 pounds regularly and occasionally handle up to 100 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must meet company driver qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to perform basic functions of math in all units of measure and formats and to interpret rate, ratio, percent, and graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
- Some states require employees to be 21 years of age or older when promoting, merchandising and delivering alcoholic beverages
