Job Summary
Display beverage merchandise on shelves and sales floors by arranging products per approved plans and placing price signs. Transfer items from stock rooms to displays to manage sell-by dates, order product for assigned accounts to prevent out-of-stocks, and assemble display aids from Point of Sale materials. Communicate daily with store personnel regarding service or product needs while following suggestions from the Merchandiser and Sales Managers. This role supports Admiral Beverage's distribution network across the Mountain-West states, including Alaska, ensuring premium soft drinks, waters, and alcoholic beverages are available in retail locations.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- One to three months related experience and/or training
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must meet company driver qualifications
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to write simple correspondence
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization
- Ability to perform basic functions of math in all units of measure and formats and to interpret rate, ratio, percent, and graphs
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
