Job Summary
PeopleSoft Technical Developer focused on designing, developing, and supporting PeopleSoft customizations for enterprise deployments. You will own technical implementations across PeopleTools development, Application Engine batch jobs, Component Interfaces, Integration Broker integrations, and reporting with SQR and BI Publisher. Responsibilities include leading unit testing, supporting functional and integration tests, addressing defects during UAT and hypercare, optimizing SQL performance against PeopleSoft data models, documenting technical designs and procedures, and mentoring junior developers. The role requires collaborating with functional consultants, ensuring adherence to enterprise customization standards, and providing hands-on post-go-live support. A 100% remote, full-time W2 position within Bright Vision Technologies with an in-house SOW engagement is offered; H1B sponsorship is not available for new hires, but transfers are welcomed for qualified candidates. A technical coding assessment is mandatory for applicants.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Five or more years of PeopleSoft technical development experience
- Strong hands-on experience with PeopleTools, Application Designer, and PeopleCode
- Solid experience with Application Engine, Component Interfaces, and Integration Broker
- Hands-on experience with SQR and BI Publisher
- Strong SQL skills and experience with the PeopleSoft data model
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM, FSCM, or Campus Solutions data structures
- Experience supporting PeopleSoft upgrades and patches
- Working knowledge of Approval Workflow Engine (AWE)
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
