Job Summary
Elicit requirements and document specifications from functional users and subject matter experts for PeopleSoft HCM and Payroll applications. Analyze, define, and document business functions and processes while developing alternatives to streamline workflows. Translate customer needs into application configurations, creating standard requirement documents including business process workflows, functional requirements, and use cases. Review proposed functional configurations for product modules and apply industry best practices to develop to-be business procedures. Manage multiple dynamic priorities to meet deadlines within a team-oriented government environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or information systems or other technically relevant degree
- 8+ years' experience with a minimum of four years of functional experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x
- Versed in the design, implementation, test and deployment of PeopleSoft HCM version 9.x
- 8+ years experience with a minimum of four years of functional experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.x
- Possess a high level of attention to detail, be organized, and able to communicate effectively with peers, managers, and executives
- Must be a team player and be able to adjust to a dynamic working environment for a government agency
- Must have strong written, verbal, and listening skills
- Must have strong analytical skills and can demonstrate strong problem-solving skills
- US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a U.S. Courts background investigation
Desired Qualifications
- Strong experience in PeopleSoft 9.2 federal functionality, specifically with the HR, Benefits, Time & Labor, North American Payroll and ESS/MSS modules preferred
- Functional experience with three or more of the following PeopleSoft modules: HR Core, Personnel Action Requests (PAR) processing, Payroll, Benefits, Time and Labor and Self Service
- Experience with PeopleSoft HCM 9.2 for federal customers
- PeopleSoft Technical experience is highly preferred
- Experience working with Agile development teams
