Job Summary
PeopleSoft Engineer focused on owning and optimizing enterprise PeopleSoft environments across Oracle databases and PeopleTools. Responsibilities include leading PUM upgrades and quarterly patching, enabling secure, stable, and scalable releases, managing application/server infrastructure, monitoring production batch schedules, and delivering DBA consulting across Oracle and SQL Server. You’ll work with cross-functional teams to plan environment readiness, perform post-refresh activities for non-production systems, and drive continuous improvement and performance enhancements. The role is primarily UK-based with hybrid/remote flexibility, and requires strong collaboration, ownership, and technical expertise in PeopleSoft administration, Oracle databases, and related infrastructure.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in PeopleSoft Administration and architecture
- Proven experience managing complex enterprise environments
- Hands-on experience with Oracle databases and SQL Server exposure
- PeopleTools expertise
- PeopleSoft 9.x or above environments
- Experience with PIA (PeopleTools Internet Architecture)
- App Servers, Process Schedulers, WebLogic
- Hybrid/Remote working pattern
- 5–7 years in PeopleSoft Administration / Infrastructure roles
- Ability to plan, upgrade, and patch environments
- Ability to collaborate with development and functional teams
- Strong communication and ownership mindset
