People Transformation - Business Analyst (6 month temporary contract)

Job Summary
Gather and analyse business requirements to identify technical specifications for standardising HR processes across multiple countries. Facilitate workshops with stakeholders to create process maps, translate outputs into solution-ready requirements, and support system configuration and testing activities. Manage stakeholder engagement to drive alignment on key decisions while contributing to the design of scalable, globally consistent HR service processes. This 6-month temporary assignment supports a significant global People Transformation programme within Linklaters' Technology & Data team, working in a hybrid model from the London office.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience delivering business analysis within HR Services, HR Operations or HR Transformation programmes
- Strong requirements gathering, process mapping and business process improvement capability
- Experience translating business processes into system requirements, ideally relating to HR case management or workflow-driven platforms
- Proven ability to facilitate workshops and engage effectively with senior stakeholders across multiple countries
- Experience supporting RFP, vendor selection or technology evaluation activities
- Strong understanding of business analysis methodologies across Agile and Waterfall environments
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between business and technical teams
- Experience using tools such as Azure DevOps, Visio, Mural and other standard BA toolsets
- A structured, detail-oriented approach with the ability to bring clarity to ambiguity and drive outputs through to completion

- This is an opportunity to work on a high-profile transformation initiative, partnering with HR and business stakeholders to analyse current processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate complex business requirements into clear, actionable deliverables
- Working within our Technology & Data team, you will play a key role in helping to standardise HR processes across multiple countries and support the transition to a centralised service model
- Gathering, analysing and documenting business requirements across the full project lifecycle
- Facilitating workshops with stakeholders across multiple locations and functions
- Creating process maps and identifying opportunities for standardisation and efficiency
- Translating workshop outputs into solution-ready requirements to support system configuration and future technology selection activities
- Supporting testing activity, including acceptance criteria definition and UAT
- Managing stakeholder engagement and driving alignment on key decisions and outcomes
- Contributing to the design of scalable, globally consistent HR service processes
- This role will be based in our London office, with a hybrid working model
