Job Summary
Lead Workday technical implementation and enhancement activities for Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, and Payroll modules while serving as system administrator. Configure systems, manage data and security architecture, and collaborate with HR Technology peers, Field HR, and third-party consultants to optimize business processes. Troubleshoot complex defects and actively participate in design, planning, and support of configuration and administration efforts. Roll out bi-annual Workday releases and maintain deep expertise in time calculations and eligibility rules. Requires 4+ years of Workday configuration experience and strong communication skills. Participate in an agile environment with immediate impact on employee experience and organizational productivity.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Information Systems and Technology, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- 4 or more years of configuration and administration experience
- advanced subject matter expertise with Workday Time Tracking and Absence
- Workday Time Tracking and Absence (mandatory)
- Benefits and Payroll (US)
- Solid understanding of US Payroll, GL, regulations/rules
- Deep understanding of the time calculations configuration, time calculation tags, shift differentials and attendance points, eligibility rules, etc, all related configuration and downstream impacts to payroll and other systems
- Hands on knowledge supporting Workday configuration including (but not limited to) – BPs, notifications, condition rules, custom reports, EIBs, Security, etc
- Hands on experience with rolling out bi-annual Workday releases
- Familiarity with agile development frameworks and tools (e.g., Jira, Scrum, Kanban)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all organizational levels, including technical & non-technical audiences
- Organizational and planning skills, including being able to work reliably and efficiently under demanding deadlines with minimal supervision
- Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Time Tracking implementation preferred (1 full life cycle is strongly preferred)
