People Systems Specialist

Job Summary
Hands-on administration of Dayforce and other People Team systems (ATS, engagement, recognition, performance); configure and support HRIS workflows, security roles, and integrations; maintain data integrity across systems; build standard and ad hoc reports; drive process optimization and automation across recruiting, onboarding, payroll, engagement, and performance; collaborate with People Team, IT, and vendors to implement improvements; support onboarding of new entities or system expansions; Detroit-based on-site with cross-functional partnership to enhance employee experience and system reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3 years of HRIS or People systems experience
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems (Dayforce strongly preferred) and multiple systems (ATS, engagement, performance, recognition)
- Experience with system configuration, reporting, and user security
- Experience turning data into narrative with visualizations and presenting to HR professionals/leaders
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder support skills
- Ability to work independently or in a team and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours and possibly from multiple locations (e.g., Ford Field Management Office and Meijer Performance Center)
- Valid Driver’s License and good driving record
