Job Summary
Configure Workday systems, specifically Payroll, Time Tracking, or Time Off & Absence modules, while managing mass data updates and tenant changes via Enterprise Interface Builders. Design custom reports and calculated fields to deliver actionable data insights, and assist in evaluating bi-annual releases and system patches. Provide tier-2 support for configuration updates and end-user training, partnering with Finance, IT, and People Operations to translate business needs into scalable solutions. This role requires 3+ years of Workday administration experience and reports to the Operations Team within Skydio's autonomous flight division.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on Workday administration experience
- Strong functional understanding of at least one of the following modules: Payroll, Time Tracking, or Time Off and Absence
- Strong general knowledge of Core HCM, Benefits, Talent & Performance, and Advanced Compensation business processes
- Proven experience building custom Workday reports
- Experience utilizing advanced calculated fields
- Experience independently executing data loads via EIBs
- Exceptional problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Passion for data integrity
- Ability to translate complex technical jargon into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders across Finance and HR
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to or foundational knowledge of Workday Studio
- Exposure to or foundational knowledge of Integrations
- Exposure to or foundational knowledge of Workday Extend
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth technology or manufacturing environment
