People Systems Analyst

Job Summary
Support the ongoing operation and optimisation of Workday and connected people systems, with a focus on reliability, data quality and user experience. Maintain configuration across relevant Workday modules (HCM, Advanced Compensation, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Absence & Time Tracking), including tenant setup, business processes, security, integrations, reporting and mass data activities. Work alongside stakeholders to understand business needs, solve problems and deliver fit-for-purpose platform improvements, while investigating issues, assessing impacts and translating requirements into practical system changes. Coordinate release activity, testing and deployment to ensure changes are implemented safely and effectively, and manage requests and system incidents end to end. Contribute to process simplification, automation and self-service improvements that reduce manual effort and improve employee and leader experience. This role sits within the Employee Experience team, partnering across People & Culture to design end-to-end experiences for a global organisation.
Required Qualifications
- Broad knowledge of the HR Tech landscape
- At least 2 years hands-on experience configuring Workday HCM (in-house or consulting) across multiple functional areas
- Proven experience configuring business processes, security, reporting and data loads
- Understanding of people processes and how they translate into practical system design
- Ability to troubleshoot issues, manage requests, ticketing triage and resolution
- Strong stakeholder engagement, communication and prioritisation skills
- A proactive, curious and detail-oriented approach
- A continuous improvement mindset
- A strong focus on user experience
