Job Summary
Own the technology and systems layer for Solace's People function, with primary ownership of Workday architecture and configuration. Design how Workday workflows and security roles operate across the employee lifecycle, build automations to reduce manual effort, and identify where AI can enhance People Operations. Develop integrations between Workday and the broader People tech stack (Payroll, Pulley, Ashby), support compensation infrastructure (salary bands, job architecture, leveling), and partner with Total Rewards on compensation modeling. This is a high-ownership role on a small team with impact across the company, requiring 4–6 years of HRIS/People Systems experience, deep Workday expertise, and a mindset geared toward AI-enabled automation. Required Qualifications
- 4 to 6 years of experience in an HRIS or People Systems role
- Deep hands on Workday experience — configured business processes, built security roles, designed integrations, and written calculated fields
- Experience with equity administration platforms, Pulley experience a plus
- Genuine excitement about AI and automation in the People space
- Enough comfort with compensation data to be a real partner on comp architecture and modeling
- Low ego, high output — you build what doesn't exist without needing a perfect brief
