Job Summary
The People Solutions Specialist serves as a strategic and operational HR partner responsible for supporting and enhancing the full employee lifecycle. Designs, implements, and continuously improves People Operations programs, policies, and processes that foster engagement, development, retention, and organizational success. Provides guidance on employee relations, performance management, compliance, benefits, compensation, learning and development, and workplace policies; partners with legal counsel as needed. Administers payroll, benefits, recognition, wellness, and employee experience programs; ensures timely and accurate payroll, compliance, and reporting. Coordinates onboarding, open enrollment, and company-wide events for onsite and remote team members. Develops and manages learning initiatives, leave of absence programs, and HR analytics to support strategic decision-making. Ensures HR practices align with laws and organizational goals; acts as a culture steward, change agent, and advocate for employees and the business. Experience supporting hybrid/remote teams across multiple states and a strong focus on creating an inclusive workplace culture are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and performance management
- Experience supporting hybrid and/or remote teams across multiple states
- Must be located in the Columbus, Ohio area
