People Services Support Manager

Job Summary
Lead People Services delivery across onboarding, contractual changes, payroll, benefits and leavers to ensure a seamless colleague experience. Act as the first point of contact for HR queries and provide high-quality support for managers and employees. Oversee payroll delivery via a third-party provider and ensure accuracy and compliance. Drive employee relations with fair and legally compliant outcomes, and lead, coach and develop the People Services & Support team to deliver a customer-centric culture. Own HR systems and data integrity, monitor performance using MI and SLAs, and drive continuous improvement with digital and AI-enabled solutions. Ensure risk, compliance and governance standards are met across all people operations, and support organisational change in collaboration with HR Business Partners and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience leading a People Operations / HR Services function
- Strong expertise in employee relations
- Solid knowledge of UK employment law, compliance and risk management
- Experience delivering end-to-end employee lifecycle processes
- Strong understanding of HR systems (e.g. Workday or similar) and data management
- CIPD Level 5 (or equivalent experience)
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple demands in a fast-paced environment
