Job Summary
Conduct orientation and onboarding activities for new and rehire employees, managing and updating employee files to ensure compliance. Perform assigned functional areas including HRIS, employee relations, training, benefits, and compensation while assisting with human resource programs, background screenings, and performance reviews. Maintain HR information system records, compile reports, coordinate equipment needs, and prepare employment records for events such as hiring, termination, and promotions. Prioritize work activities, utilize time efficiently, and maintain strict confidentiality on patient, agency, and employee matters. Requires knowledge of basic HR, HIPAA, and regulatory requirements, computer proficiency, and strong interpersonal skills. Reports to the Director of Operations.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledgeable of basic HR, HIPAA and regulatory requirements of the company
- Able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Able to write routine reports and correspondence
- Able to speak effectively before groups of customers, employees and/ or organizations
- Able to work with multiple teams within the organization
- Able to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
- Possesses excellent problem-solving techniques and abilities
- Computer proficiency, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Associates Degree or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
Desired Qualifications
- Device experience is a plus
- Knowledge of human resource best practices and processes (preferred)
