Job Summary
Drive organizational transformation by collaborating with People & Culture colleagues as a sparring partner on business changes. Manage complex employee relations, including consulting on performance and health issues, leading conflict resolution, and addressing queries regarding working relationships. Review HR contracts, design and evaluate policies, and communicate with employee representative bodies and government authorities. Conduct workplace incident investigations, provide compliance-based corrective recommendations, and prepare for potential labor dispute litigation. Deliver PR-related training and leverage data to generate insights for management decisions. This role supports Roche's mission to prevent, stop, and cure diseases while ensuring fair, inclusive, and psychologically safe workplaces across all legal entities in China.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Law, Business, or related fields
- 8+ years of working experience in multinational companies
- at least 3 years dedicated to Employee/Labor Relations
- Fluent English skills (reading, writing, listening, speaking)
- Expert knowledge of relevant employment legislation
- proven success in leading organizational transformations or reorganizations
- Outstanding consultation, influencing, and negotiation skills
- an enterprise mindset with the ability to properly handle highly sensitive employee relations crises

- Experience in a healthcare commercial organization
