Job Summary
Manage employee records, ensure policy compliance with federal and local labor laws, and oversee the full onboarding and offboarding lifecycle. Own the end-to-end benefits administration and support multi-state payroll processing with finance. Lead the recruitment lifecycle for US roles, including job postings and initial screenings, while coordinating team-building events and one-on-one meetings. Design and improve learning and development activities, including leadership academies and internal training programs. Maintain the day-to-day management of the San Diego office. This role directly shapes how our 50-person team grows and experiences the company.
Required Qualifications
- 2–4 years of professional experience in a People Partner role (Coordinator or Generalist level)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- Proficiency with HRIS platforms (e.g., Paychex, Flock, Lever, Checkr, E-verify, Lattice) and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to handle sensitive information with total discretion
- High EQ: You can navigate a tough employee relations conversation with empathy and professionalism
Desired Qualifications
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification is a plus
- Working knowledge of CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA, TX, CO, TN, OH, PA, and DE labor laws
- Must be willing to gain knowledge for other states future employees are hired in
