People Partner Manager

Job Summary
As a People Partner Manager, you will implement the global People Strategy at the local level, serving as a trusted advisor on people-related matters. You will lead the annual HR cycle covering performance management, compensation reviews, and talent development, while guiding resolution on employee relations issues in compliance with company policies and local regulations. Monitoring labor law changes and acting as a talent broker for internal development opportunities are key responsibilities. The role demands 5+ years of HR generalist experience, solid HR fundamentals understanding, and advanced labor law knowledge, particularly in unionized settings. Strong communication skills in Japanese and English are essential.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as an HR generalist
- Solid understanding of HR fundamentals, including recruitment, people performance management, employee engagement, compensation, development, and employee relations
- Advanced knowledge of labor law
- Experience from working in unionized environments would be beneficial
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Japanese and English
