Job Summary
People Operations Specialist will support Talent Acquisition, Rewards & Operations, and Employee Engagement initiatives within ORIC's People Team. Responsibilities include scheduling candidate seminars and interviews, coordinating travel and expenses, creating onboarding/offboarding checklists, managing new hire orientations, maintaining HR records across multiple platforms (ADP WFN, Mineral, LinkedIn Learning, Jobvite, SmartRecruiters, Calm, etc.), supporting Open Enrollment, preparing HRIS reports, maintaining SharePoint content, coordinating employee engagement surveys and events, and contributing to Learning and Development initiatives. The role requires excellent communication, organizational skills, confidentiality, and a strong interest in human resources; a Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field (or equivalent experience) and at least 2 years of HR experience are preferred, with familiarity in US and California employment laws. The anticipated hourly pay range in San Diego is $40-$45 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 2 years of related HR experience
- Familiarity with HR systems/databases and ability to learn new systems quickly; experience with ADP WFN, Jobvite, SmartRecruiters, LinkedIn Learning, and SharePoint is desirable
