Job Summary
Own end-to-end onboarding in UKG, including data entry, background checks, I-9 verification, and document collection; track onboarding progress in Monday.com; coordinate with Talent, IT, and People Ops to ensure timely completion; partner with IT to support system provisioning and resolve access issues; communicate with new hires and managers throughout onboarding; manage end-to-end offboarding in Jira, including exit documentation and payroll/benefits coordination; process employee changes (promotions, transfers, reporting updates, letters); complete employment verifications with SLAs; maintain compliant personnel files; respond to People Ops tickets; QA work per SOPs; identify recurring issues and suggest process improvements; support basic People Ops reporting and Excel data tasks; escalate complex issues to a Lead; hybrid NYC office schedule; 53k-70k base with total comp up to 74k+ including potential bonus; benefit overview as part of full-time roles; offerings emphasize confidentiality and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–3 years of experience in People Operations, Human Resources, or similar administrative/operations role
- Experience executing employee lifecycle processes (onboarding, offboarding, employee changes)
- Experience with HRIS platforms (UKG preferred) and ticketing/workflow tools (Jira, Monday.com)
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Clear professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to follow SOPs and escalate when needed
- Strong Excel skills (formulas, filters, sorting, data validation)
- Discretion with sensitive information
- Interest in long-term People Operations career
- Hybrid schedule availability (4 days/week in NYC office)
