Job Summary
People Operations Shared Service Specialist providing first-level support to people managers on People Ops policies; handling employee life cycle processes (recruitment ads, job changes, offers, onboarding), maintaining employee records, and generating reports in Workday/ATS; ensuring compliance with country-specific requirements; supporting onboarding, performance management, and data protection; strong Icelandic (native) and English, with Norwegian/Danish/Swedish as a plus; flexible work location with preferred sites Reykjavik, Oslo, or Copenhagen; hybrid work arrangement.
Required Qualifications
- Fluent in Icelandic (preferably native)
- Conversational proficiency in Norwegian, Danish, or Swedish
- Strong English communication
- Experience with HR administration, Workday and/or similar HRIS
- Knowledge of HR policies and regulations in Scandinavian countries
- Service-oriented, excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail, confidentiality and ability to multitask
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in hotel or service industry desirable
