Job Summary
Act as the Tier 2 operational HR lead for your assigned country, managing complex employee lifecycle activities including contractual changes, leave management, and transfers. Ensure all operational HR processes align with local employment legislation and company standards while supporting global HR initiatives. Provide practical guidance to managers and HRBPs on disciplinary, grievance, and performance matters, escalating high-risk issues to Regional Ops or Legal. Coordinate with Payroll, HRIS, and external vendors to deliver compliant local employment practices. Identify operational risks and contribute to process documentation and system implementations. This role focuses on judgement-based operational execution rather than high-volume transactional queries.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in relevant country-specific HR operational experience
- Strong HR generalist experience with operational HR ownership
- Experience supporting employee relations and operational HR delivery within a multinational environment
- Strong understanding of local employment legislation and HR operational practices
- Ability to manage complex operational issues requiring judgement and practical application
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a global operating model
- Strong organisational, prioritisation, and problem-solving capability
- Experience working with HR systems and operational workflows
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field
- Professional HR qualification (e.g. CIPD, SHRM, HRCI or equivalent)
