Job Summary
Lead hourly talent acquisition, onboarding, performance and training activities; administers service award and recognition programs; develop and implement site communication, engagement and retention plans; advise site leadership on employee relations; ensure HR programs and processes are consistently applied; maintain HRIS records for remote/hybrid California employees; support lean manufacturing initiatives; manage three-shift operations and travel up to 10% across applicable locations; maintain compliance with California wage and hour laws and home office reimbursements; collaborate with site leadership to foster an inclusive, high-performance workplace culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Minimum of 3 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification strongly preferred
- Proficient in California labor laws, including wage and hour compliance, leave administration, and pay transparency
- Spanish language proficiency required to effectively support a diverse workforce
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization
- Experience supporting multi-shift operations and hourly employee populations
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and a dedication to maintaining structure with attention to detail
- Skilled in Microsoft Office; experience with HRIS and communication platforms preferred
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to influence and coach leaders to drive positive employee outcomes
