Job Summary
People Operations Manager at Charlie Health leading operational scale for the People Ops lifecycle, systems, automation, and data integrity. Own HRIS/platform configurations (UKG and integrations), drive automation to reduce manual work, enforce standards across lifecycle processes including compensation changes and review cycles, ensure audit readiness, and partner across Legal, Compliance, Payroll, Benefits, Finance, IT, and Talent. Lead and develop the People Operations team to provide scalable, high-quality employee experiences in a high-growth behavioral health environment. 4-day hybrid in NYC with a base salary target in the high-60s to mid-130s range, plus performance-based bonus and broader compensation mix; role emphasizes systems thinking, process design, and cross-functional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5–8 years of experience in People Operations or Human Resources
- At least 2–3 years in a people management or senior operational role
- Strong experience owning HRIS platforms and People systems (UKG experience strongly preferred)
- Demonstrated experience leading process automation, systems integrations, and operational scaling efforts
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, compliance requirements, and audit preparation
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage competing priorities in a high-growth environment
- Hybrid schedule of 4 days per week in NYC office (located within a commutable distance)
