Job Summary
Manage payroll operations by serving as the primary liaison with the third-party processor, validating Dayforce data for compensation and hours, and ensuring error-free transmission. Conduct pre and post payroll audits, reconcile tax liabilities, and oversee federal, state, and local tax filings including 941 and W-2 reports. Support Finance with GL activities, prepare labor cost analytics, and maintain SOX controls and internal documentation. Act as a Tier 2/3 expert for employee pay questions, analyze compensation surveys, and ensure compliance with wage and hour laws. Requires a Bachelor's degree, 5–7 years of U.S. payroll experience, Dayforce proficiency, and CPP/FPC certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 Years
- 5–7+ years of U.S. payroll experience, including multi‐state payroll
- Experience collaborating with a third‐party payroll processing partner
- Proficiency using Dayforce for payroll data management
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local payroll tax rules
- Strong auditing and reconciliation skills
- Proficiency in Excel (pivots, vlookup/index‐match)
- High level of accuracy, confidentiality, and discretion
- CPP or FPC certification
