Job Summary
People Operations & International Expansion Manager responsible for leading HR operations and international growth. Own the HR workstream for new market entity setups, negotiate with local lawyers and payroll providers, define local contracts and benefits, and manage relationships with PEO/EOR providers. Lead end-to-end employee relocations and international assignments, ensure cross-border compliance, and coordinate payroll and onboarding across multiple geographies. Collaborate with senior leadership, support recruitment coordination, and contribute to building a consistent culture across geographies while building scalable HR processes for multi-entity environments. Based in Paris with remote work options.
Required Qualifications
- 4–6 years of HR operations experience, with at least 2–3 years in an international or multi-entity environment
- Proven experience setting up HR practices in a new country or subsidiary
- Hands-on knowledge of French labour law (essential) and working knowledge of at least one other jurisdiction (US, Germany, Portugal, Spain)
- Experience managing international mobility — visas, work permits, détachement, relocation
- Comfortable working directly with senior leadership in a fast-moving environment
- Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to juggle multiple live projects simultaneously
- Entrepreneurial mindset with genuine interest to work on different topics
- Fluent in English and French
