Job Summary

HR Business Partner at Learning Without Tears leading full-cycle talent acquisition and employee relations for a 220-employee organization. Partner with executives and leaders on hiring needs, success profiles, and recruiting strategies; actively source passive candidates; leverage AI and automation to enhance sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and candidate insights; drive a structured interview process; manage recruiting metrics and hiring outcomes. Also design, launch, and manage a scalable internship program; own intern recruiting lifecycle; develop intern experience with onboarding, mentorship, and performance feedback; coordinate program milestones and track metrics. Serve as go-to advisor for managers on employee relations, conduct investigations, coach on performance management, and balance employee advocacy with business needs. Build HR partnerships in a lean environment across Finance, IT, and Operations; contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes; support workforce planning and organizational changes. Required 5+ years HR experience; strong communication skills; high EI; experience with AI tools in TA; familiarity with HRIS/ATS; SHRM-CP/ SCP or PHR/SPHR strongly preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of HR experience in a generalist or HRBP role, with strong emphasis on full-cycle recruiting and employee relations
  • Demonstrated success in a small to mid-sized organization or similar fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive leadership
  • High emotional intelligence and sound judgment in handling sensitive employee matters
  • Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities with accountability for outcomes
  • Experience leveraging AI tools in talent acquisition (sourcing platforms, screening tools, recruiting analytics)
  • Familiarity with HRIS and ATS platforms (e.g., UKG, Greenhouse, Lever, or similar)
  • HR certification (SHRM-CP/SCP, PHR/SPHR) strongly preferred
