Job Summary

Manage U.S., UK, and Canadian visa cases across the full lifecycle, from offer stage through renewals and permanent residency. Serve as an internal immigration expert to advise recruiters on sponsorship options and shape the strategy behind the immigration program by benchmarking market practices and managing vendors. Design and manage end-to-end international relocation cases to ensure seamless support for employees and their families, while expanding these processes to new countries as we grow. Own compliance for all operating countries, including cross-border remote work and business travel, by building playbooks that address payroll, employment law, and cultural considerations. Act as the internal connector across Legal, Finance, and HR to stand up compliant employment as we scale into new markets.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience across a sub-set of People Operations, global mobility, immigration, and compliance in a global context
  • Strong vendor management skills
  • Experience building processes from scratch at a scaling company
  • Autonomy and ownership: you take full accountability, follow through on commitments, and don't let things fall through the cracks
  • Genuine kindness and compassion: you care deeply about the people you support, especially when they're navigating high-stakes, high-stress situations
  • Exceptional attention to detail: you catch them before they happen
  • Outstanding communication skills: you can translate complex situations into plain language for employees, leaders, and their families
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks, comfort with ambiguity, and a bias toward action balanced with sound judgment on compliance risk

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience standing up immigration/mobility functions in additional countries beyond the US/UK/Canada (e.g., APAC, EU, LatAm)
  • Prior experience at a high-growth startup navigating rapid global expansion
