Job Summary
The People Operations Generalist owns the continuous improvement of People programs across the employee lifecycle, delivering accurate, compliant, and employee-centered support across HR systems, total rewards, reporting, and key lifecycle processes while helping build scalable People Operations infrastructure in Rippling and connected systems. Responsibilities include designing lifecycle processes in Rippling, supporting compensation and total rewards benchmarking and documentation, administering benefits and life events, coordinating accommodations, serving as a point of contact for People policies, building recurring reports and data checks, and improving People policies and workflows across Teams. Preferred qualifications emphasize 3–5 years of experience in People Operations/HR, Rippling HRIS administration, onboarding/offboarding/payroll/benefits, strong communication, knowledge of federal and CA employment law, data analysis, and automation mindset.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in People Operations, HR Operations, or HR Generalist roles in a fast-paced environment
- Experience being an HRIS super-admin; Rippling experience preferred
- Experience building core employee lifecycle processes, such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll, benefits, leave administration, and documentation
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of federal and California state employment law fundamentals
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently and build effective working relationships across functions and levels
- Comfort with reporting, spreadsheets, and People data analysis
- Process improvement mindset with an interest in automation, systems optimization, and scalable service delivery
