Job Summary
People Operations Coordinator at Tekmetric, based in our Houston HQ with hybrid and remote work options. The role focuses on recruiting coordination (complex, later-stage interview scheduling across multiple time zones; onsite logistics; candidate/interviewer liaison; and delivering a high-quality candidate experience), onboarding logistics (I-9 verification, training tracking, travel and accommodations, and new hire setup), and culture/employee engagement (pulse surveys, recognition programs). Candidates should bring 2–4 years of experience in recruiting coordination or a related operational role, strong organizational and communication skills, familiarity with ATS/HRIS tools, and an interest in using AI to automate tasks and improve productivity. The position requires coordinating interviews, managing onboarding workflows, and supporting HR administration across a fast-moving People org, with travel and hybrid/remote collaboration as part of the role.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years of experience in recruiting coordination, HR/people operations, or comparable role
- Experience scheduling high-volume, multi-interviewer interviews across time zones using an ATS and calendar tools
- Greenhouse and Google Workspace experience preferred
- Working knowledge of an HRIS (Rippling, Lattice, or similar)
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication
- Genuine interest in using AI tools to work smarter: experimenting with new approaches, automating repetitive tasks, and lifting team productivity
