Job Summary
Own the design and continuous improvement of employee lifecycle processes end to end, surfacing workarounds and undocumented exceptions to drive fixes across teams. Lead process improvement projects from problem statement through launch, coordinating across Shared Services, HRIS, Legal, and Recruiting to build scalable structures. Identify automation opportunities and partner with technical teams to move them from idea to implementation, while monitoring compliance for I-9, BGC/FCRA, and data integrity. Manage People team tools like Workday and background check platforms, keeping SOPs current to prevent escalations. This role is based in the San Francisco office with onsite, five-day workweeks.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years in People / HR Operations, Program Management, QA, or Compliance, in roles that required building structure, tracking accuracy, and making things run reliably
- Has taken broken, manual processes and rebuilt them end to end — redesign, execution, and adoption
- Proactively analyzes data to surface compliance gaps and trends and uses findings to execute on improvement opportunities
- Spots problems before they're raised and shows up with a proposed fix, not just an observation
- Picks up new tools quickly and uses them to make work more reliable, not just faster
- Works comfortably across Shared Services, HRIS, Legal, Recruiting, Payroll, and HR Business Partners, building alignment and scalable processes across teams
- Moves quickly without introducing risk or sacrificing quality
- This role is based in our San Francisco office
- all of our office-based teams work onsite, five days a week
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in HR tools like Workday, FirstAdvantage, and background check platforms
- Familiarity with I-9 regulations, FCRA, or SOC 2 compliance
- Experience deploying AI or automation to improve operational workflows
