People Operations and People Process Specialist (Fixed-term contract)

Job Summary
Maintain accurate documentation and records to support compliance with GR&CY Control Environment requirements. Create, update, and maintain organizational charts, workforce documentation, and employee-related records. Perform regular data validation and quality checks for People information, while gathering and analyzing data for performance management, people planning, and talent initiatives. Coordinate job evaluation requests, prepare reports and dashboards, and assist with Annual Operating Plan headcount validation. Provide guidance to managers and employees on HR processes and self-service tools, manage service tickets, and support ad-hoc HR projects. This one-year fixed-term role in Athens supports the Greece & Cyprus People Function team within Optimal's People Operations division.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Psychology, or a related field
- Previous experience in HR Operations, HR Administration, Shared Services, or a similar support role
- Excellent command of English (both written and verbal)
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail
- Ability to manage confidential information with discretion
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Excellent communication skills and a service-oriented mindset
- Highly organized, data-driven, customer-focused, and comfortable supporting HR processes, working with data, ensuring process compliance, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Academic background in Human Resources
- Experience working with HR systems and ticketing platforms
