Job Summary
Seeking a mid to senior People Operations Analyst to manage benefits reconciliation, compensation survey participation, and maintain data integrity within the HRIS and benefits platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in benefits administration, compliance with ERISA and state-level regulations, and a hands-on approach to optimizing processes. Responsibilities include producing reports on benefits costs, managing vendor relationships, and collaborating with Payroll and Finance teams to ensure data accuracy. Preferred qualifications include experience with union benefits, HRIS ownership, and relevant certifications.
Required Qualifications
- 2–5+ years in total rewards, benefits administration, compensation, or a closely related HR function
- Experience supporting a multi-state employer of 1,000+ employees through payroll cycles
- Hands-on experience with ACH processing, remittance workflows, and carrier/vendor relationships
- Deep fluency in ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, and state-level benefits compliance
- Proficiency with compensation survey platforms, ideally Radford/AON and Pave
- Excel or Google Sheets skills that go well past the vlookup
- A track record of operating without a lot of hand-holding in a fast-moving environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with union benefit programs
- Familiarity with SEBB
- HRIS platform ownership experience (e.g., ADP Lyric)
- CEBS, CCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
- Experience building or scaling a total rewards function in a growth-stage company
