Job Summary
Role focuses on executing pre-employment checks, onboarding support in North America, and management of hiring workflows within HRIS/Workday. Responsibilities include coordinating end-to-end due diligence for legal talent across North America with international coverage when needed, handling background checks, right-to-work verification, pre-employment paperwork, ensuring 100% screening completion by start date, supporting onboarding progress tracking and timely completions, engaging with new hires and hiring managers to resolve questions, processing of new hires with a 24-hour turnaround, supporting client attestations and RFPs, audits, and reporting to stay compliant with client screening requirements. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to communicate with a global workforce, and capacity to manage a wide scope of operational processes and procure live support within a HRIS (Workday). A base annual salary range of $52,000-$60,000 plus 10% bonus is noted for a Chicago, Illinois location.
Required Qualifications
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline (or sufficient work experience in lieu of degree)
- Experience handling multiple tasks simultaneously, adapting to changes, and creatively problem solving
- Highly organized and effective at managing own workload within competing deadlines
- Confident in applying own judgement and taking initiative to deliver against targets
- Able to follow internal process guides and repeat processes quickly with low error margin
- Team player who can confidently develop and maintain remote relationships
