Job Summary
People Lead design and implement core people systems that enable managers to hire, develop, and lead effectively; build tools, templates, and guidance; design manager training on feedback, performance conversations, role clarity, and decision-making; establish structured hiring, interview frameworks, scorecards, and assessment criteria; define a clear hiring bar and consistent candidate evaluation; manage and develop the Talent Partner; use data to improve hiring quality, speed, and consistency; design lightweight performance and progression frameworks with clear expectations and progression paths; develop compensation philosophy, benchmarking, pay reviews, and fair, consistent reward decisions; create a consistent onboarding framework and specify manager responsibilities across key milestones; lead communications for people frameworks and initiatives; define end-to-end people systems, keep them simple, scalable, and adaptable to AI-enabled workforce; partner with Finance on affordability and trade-offs; success includes greater manager ownership of hiring and performance decisions, improved hiring quality and consistency, clearer progression and reward decisions, stronger role clarity, structured onboarding, and better leadership visibility and data.
Required Qualifications
- Experience building people systems in scaling companies
- Strength across performance, progression, hiring systems, and reward frameworks
- Practical hands-on approach building from scratch
- Strong judgement and commercial mindset
- Ability to influence managers and senior leaders through credibility
- Comfort with ambiguity and fast pace
- Systems-minded outlook with low-bureaucracy
