People (HR) Operations Manager

Job Summary
Lead the design and documentation of HR programs such as compensation, benefits and recruitment. Develop scalable methodologies and tools to optimize HR operations and streamline onboarding, hiring, terminations, rewards, benefits, and timekeeping. Oversee employee data management to ensure privacy and policy compliance, and manage reporting and regulatory filings. Evaluate and manage HR process outsourcing vendors and contracts, ensure project goals and budgets are met, and supervise the HR Generalist in day-to-day performance. Responsibilities include full-cycle Talent Acquisition from front-line to director, onboarding and offboarding; HR systems and analytics (dashboards, HRIS, workforce metrics); compensation and benefits benchmarking and regulatory reporting; manager development and HR compliance training.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- At least 2 years managing people
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
- Strong command of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
- Familiarity with AI-powered HR platforms (bonus)
- Ability to maintain a reliable computer setup for remote work
- Irregular work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
