Job Summary
People & Employee Relations Advisor providing hands-on HR and ER support across UK sites in a unionised, operational environment. You’ll manage Employee Relations cases (disciplinary, grievance, absence, performance, conduct), lead investigations, advise managers on policies and procedures within UK employment law, maintain HR records and data (Workday, Google Sheets), support onboarding and leavers, collaborate with site leadership and union representatives, and contribute to continuous improvement of ER processes. On-site presence is required, with hybrid working considered after probation; relocation support may be available for the right candidate. Experience in unionised settings and practical ER experience, plus knowledge of UK employment law, are preferred. Qualifications include CIPD Level 3 or 5 (or working towards), with additional ER or employment law training desirable.
