Job Summary
Develop and deliver the People strategy to support organisational transformation and cultural change, reviewing and updating people systems, processes, compliance, and management practices. Lead strategic HR functions including workforce planning, talent, learning, employee and industrial relations, and inclusion while building a proactive industrial relations approach with recognised employee representatives. Manage the People team to ensure it is fit for the future, using people insight to drive best practice decision-making and measure progress. Contribute to business strategy and organisational performance as a member of the Executive Team. This role supports approximately 750 employees across a complex, operational organisation undergoing significant cultural integration, requiring regular presence across the wider network with limited homeworking.
Required Qualifications
- Significant senior HR leadership experience within a complex, operational organisation
- A strong record of delivering organisational change, transition or cultural transformation
- Experience auditing existing practices and translating findings into a clear, deliverable strategy
- Broad expertise across the full employee lifecycle, including workforce planning, talent, learning, employee relations and organisational development
- A strong understanding of Irish employment law and industrial relations, or the ability to become fully effective in both quickly
- Experience working successfully within a unionised environment
- Resilience, sound judgement and the ability to lead long-term transformation while managing an active day-to-day function
- Regular presence across the wider operational network
- Homeworking limited to a maximum of one day per week
- Occasional flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
