People & Development Generalist (North America)

Job Summary
The P&D Generalist supports North America HR operations across onboarding/offboarding, leave and accommodation administration, benefits administration, HR systems maintenance, and compliance. Acts as a primary contact for employee benefits inquiries, coordinates with vendors and internal stakeholders, and supports the NALA People & Development Lead with program administration, reporting, and stakeholder communication. Maintains accurate, confidential employee data, supports policy acknowledgments and audits, and contributes to workforce analytics and operational efficiency. Requires 2+ years of HR/People & Development experience with knowledge of U.S. employment regulations; willingness to work Eastern or Central time; and ability to collaborate with Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, IT, and leadership. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, People & Development, or a related field
- Foundational knowledge of U.S. Human Resources principles, employment practices, and federal, state, and local employment regulations
- Demonstrated experience administering employee leaves of absence, accommodations, and related employee support processes
- Hands-on experience coordinating and managing onboarding and offboarding activities
- Working knowledge of HRIS platforms and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to work Eastern or Central time zone hours
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to research routine HR-related questions and escalate complex matters as needed
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, IT, and business leaders
