Job Summary
The P&D Generalist supports day-to-day People & Development operations across North America, handling onboarding and offboarding, leave and accommodation administration, benefits administration, HRIS maintenance, and compliance-related processes. Serves as a resource for employees and managers, responding to routine inquiries and coordinating with the NALA P&D Lead to ensure accurate, efficient, and compliant people processes. Responsibilities include administering leaves and accommodations, benefits inquiries, coordinating onboarding sessions, maintaining employee data across systems, processing changes (compensation and job updates), supporting audits and policy compliance, preparing reports and dashboards, and collaborating with Payroll, Finance, Talent Acquisition, IT, and business leaders. Requires strong organizational and communication skills, experience with HRIS and benefits, and the ability to work in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment. Remote in Canada is supported, with focus on North America regional HR operations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Human Resources, People & Development, or a related field.
- Foundational knowledge of U.S. Human Resources principles, employment practices, and federal, state, and local employment regulations.
