Job Summary
The People & Culture Manager (Learning & Development focus) designs, implements, and evaluates training programs for leaders and colleagues across departments, develops an annual Learning Journey aligned with hotel priorities, leads new colleague orientation, facilitates leadership development and succession planning, strengthens service culture, and ensures compliance training. The role requires designing clear training materials, delivering engaging sessions to diverse audiences, tracking training metrics, and collaborating with department leaders to align initiatives with operational priorities and Fairmont standards, all within a hospitality environment in Hawaii. Must communicate effectively in English and possess strong facilitation, presentation, and coaching skills; familiarity with HR learning systems and MS Office is expected. Salary range $80,000-$90,000; benefits and career-growth opportunities are highlighted.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years in training, learning and development human resources or hospitality roles with training responsibilities preferred
- Experience facilitating training sessions, onboarding programs or team development initiatives preferred
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Hospitality, Organizational Development, Education, or related field preferred
- SHRM is an asset
- PHR is an asset
- Franklin Covey Certification is an asset
- Hospitality Leadership programs is an asset
