Job Summary
People & Culture Manager responsible for leading HR operations across recruiting, employee relations, compliance, payroll coordination, benefits administration, onboarding/offboarding, and HR strategy in a fast-growing firm. Partners with leadership to support engagement, retention, organizational effectiveness, and workforce planning; provides guidance on performance management, coaching, conflict resolution, and people-related decisions. Manages full-cycle recruiting, ensures compliant HR processes across a multi-state workforce, and supports professional development initiatives. Role requires 3+ years of HR experience, a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent), experience with ATS/HR systems (JazzHR and isolved a plus), and ability to work in a hands-on, collaborative environment. Full-time, based in Pittsburgh with occasional travel to CT and NY offices; benefits package and opportunities for growth are provided.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of progressive HR, people operations, recruiting, or related experience in a professional environment with exposure to employee relations, recruiting, payroll coordination, benefits administration, compliance, or HR operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience with ATS and payroll or HR systems; JazzHR and isolved experience preferred
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfort interacting with employees and leadership at all levels
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices; willingness to continue learning
- Comfort with technology and learning new systems
