Job Summary
As People & Culture Manager, you will lead site-specific and organizational people initiatives at Arnott’s Marleston manufacturing site, partnering with site and supply chain leaders to deliver people strategies, drive engagement and performance, lead union engagement and enterprise bargaining activity, guide employee relations and compliance, support workforce planning, talent acquisition and retention for critical roles, and use data to inform decisions across the broader P&C function. You’ll operate within a complex operational environment, collaborate with the broader P&C team, and contribute to cross-functional initiatives to build a more connected and high-performing people culture across Arnott’s ANZ.
Required Qualifications
- Significant experience in People & Culture / HR, ideally within a manufacturing, supply chain, industrial or operational environment
- Proven success partnering with senior leaders in a site-based setting
- Strong industrial and employee relations capability, including experience with union engagement, EBA negotiations, grievances and dispute resolution
- Experience delivering both local people outcomes and broader business or functional initiatives
- A collaborative mindset and genuine desire to work as part of a connected, high-performing P&C team
- Confidence contributing to broader strategy, not just managing day-to-day site issues
- Strong judgement, resilience and a hands-on approach to problem-solving
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, compliance and P&C best practice
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to use data and insight to guide decisions and identify opportunities for improvement
