Job Summary
People & Culture Generalist responsible for leading full-cycle recruitment, providing front-line HR support, handling employee relations, investigations, and accommodations under FEHA/ADA, supporting onboarding, promoting an inclusive workplace, and ensuring policy compliance; collaborates with the Sr. People Operations Generalist to align employee-facing activities with backend HR operations and stays current on applicable California and San Francisco employment laws.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field or equivalent practical experience in People & Culture/HR
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR experience with focus on employee relations, recruitment, and employee-facing HR support
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and supporting employee relations matters in a professional setting
- Experience managing full-cycle recruitment and partnering with hiring managers on equitable hiring practices
- Experience working in a nonprofit or community-based organization preferred
