Job Summary
Partner with leaders across the organization to provide strategic and operational People & Culture support, including building trusted relationships and coaching through complex workplace situations. Manage employee and labour relations matters such as investigations, grievances, conflict resolution, and accommodations while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and collective agreements. Support organizational change initiatives, workforce transitions, and restructures, and implement enterprise programs like performance management, succession planning, and leadership development. Deliver People & Culture training to reinforce new initiatives and work collaboratively with the broader team to provide consistent, high-quality service. This 18-month assignment reports to the Manager, People Operations, offering an opportunity to directly influence the employee experience at Edmonton International Airport (YEG).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline
- Five or more years of progressive Human Resources experience
- Experience supporting leaders in a unionized environment, including employee and labour relations
- Strong knowledge of employment legislation, collective agreement administration and HR best practices
- Experience leading or supporting organizational change initiatives
- Excellent communication, facilitation and conflict resolution skills
Desired Qualifications
- CPHR designation (or working toward designation)
