Job Summary
People & Culture Advisor within Abano Healthcare’s People & Culture team, providing practical, values-led HR guidance to People Leaders across Support Offices and Practice Network. The role balances operational HR, project work, reporting, and Health & Safety support, with a focus on smooth People-related processes and AI-enabled improvements. You’ll lead/co-ordinate People initiatives, support policy/procedure advisory, and deliver insights while working in a fast-paced, autonomous environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years HR Advisor experience
- Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation and its practical application
- Experience in managing the employee life cycle including contract and HRIS (Dayforce) administration
- Excellent administrative skills (including use of Microsoft Office)
- Outstanding time management and prioritisation skills
- Ability to quickly master new systems, and look for ongoing opportunities for system and process improvements, with a keen interest in AI
- Strong commercial acumen
- Preferred: Experience with Dayforce; NZ employment law experience; Health & Safety knowledge; Strong communication skills; Ability to build relationships across stakeholders; Ability to manage high workload and adapt priorities
