People Coordinator (UK)

Job Summary

Coordinate onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle activities for UK and EMEA teams by managing logistics, benefits, and payroll processes with the US People Operations group. Schedule interviews across multiple time zones, handle onsite interview logistics, and support offer coordination and background checks to ensure a seamless candidate experience. Organize team socials, internal events, and employee engagement initiatives while maintaining employee records and documentation. Work primarily from the London office (4 days per week) to support a growing defense technology company with offices in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle, and London.

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years of experience in a coordination role supporting Workplace, Employee Experience, People Operations, Talent Acquisition or Business Operations within a fast-paced environment
  • Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and keep things moving
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence working across teams and building relationships
  • Proactive, resourceful and comfortable taking ownership of tasks while working as part of a collaborative team
  • Excellent attention to detail and able to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable learning new systems and processes, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, Outlook and collaboration tools such as Slack
  • Positive, adaptable and enjoys working across multiple functions to support a growing business
  • Willingness to work primarily from our London office (4 days per week)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting People Operations, Talent Acquisition or Workplace
  • Experience using Greenhouse or similar Applicant Tracking Systems
  • Experience supporting onboarding, benefits or HR administration
  • Experience organising internal events, employee engagement initiatives or workplace culture activities
  • Previous experience within a high-growth technology, defence or start-up environment
