Job Summary
People & Communications Specialist role combining HR and marketing responsibilities. Responsibilities include maintaining website/content and social media, developing collateral and sales enablement materials, coordinating events, creating various content (blogs, newsletters, emails), graphic asset production, collaborating with leaders, overseeing full-cycle recruiting activities including posting, screening, and candidate communications, maintaining applicant tracking records, scheduling and logistics for interviews, drafting recruitment communications, assisting with benefits administration and enrollment processes, ensuring compliance with state and federal employment laws, supporting HR audits, coordinating training programs and tracking outcomes, and fostering employee engagement and recognition programs. Requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2-4 years across HR/communications/marketing, proficiency with Canva/Adobe Express or similar tools, familiarity with HRIS, strong writing and confidentiality skills, and the ability to work in a fully remote environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, human resources, or a related field
- 2-4 years of experience in HR, communications, marketing, or a closely related field
- Experience with graphic design tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar
- Experience with HRIS platforms preferred
- Knowledge of federal and state employment law basics
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines across different functional areas
- Excellent written communication skills, writing clearly and concisely
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
