Job Summary

People Business Partner to senior leaders across Operations and Finance in a fast-paced, regulated specialty insurance environment. Partners on organisational design, workforce planning, succession planning, leadership capability and talent risk; leads and manages employee relations matters (investigations, performance management, absence, conduct issues, grievances, restructures, exits); supports annual reward and year-end compensation processes (salary review, bonus planning, benchmarking, calibration, communication); coaches functional leaders on people management, team effectiveness and culture; uses workforce data to identify trends and provide insight-led recommendations; collaborates with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development and Pay & Benefits to deliver integrated people solutions; ensures compliance with governance, employment legislation and regulatory expectations within a regulated financial services context; contributes to leadership development and employee engagement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Essential Significant People Business Partner experience within insurance, banking or broader financial services
  • exposure to regulated processes including SM&CR
  • experience partnering with senior leaders across Operations, Finance and/or Technology Functions
  • employee relations capability with independence in handling ER matters
  • commercially astute with ability to balance people, operational and business priorities
  • experience in FCA and/or PRA regulated environment understanding governance and people risk
  • experience supporting organisational change, restructures, workforce planning and transformation
  • excellent stakeholder management and influencing at senior leadership level
  • strong analytical capability using people metrics and workforce data
  • curious, proactive, solutions-focused mindset with resilience in a fast-paced environment
  • team-oriented with ability to balance strategic thinking and day-to-day advisory responsibilities
  • desirable experience in London Market, specialty insurance or Lloyd’s environment
  • experience supporting Shared Services or operational transformation programmes
